TV Ads - Do they reach?

I have seen and do see lots of ads in US TV channels. But I somehow feel they are not effective enough to reach the customers. Do you also feel the same? I'm sure, if you an Indian you would feel it.

I guess, this is a general feeling from any Indian about US ads and I'm not sure how many have written about it online. I accept that the SuperBowl ads are great enough to make some impressions, but the ads in day to day life comes no where close to the daily ads which any Indian watches in the Indian TV. If some ad film maker in US does see this post, should also take some time off to see Indian ads and understand how they are enjoyable and user friendly.

Though there are Indians who switch over to other channels when ads come in one Indian channel, I can strongly affirm that Indians do enjoy the ads that come in between programs.
