The Hour of darkness

The line that attracted me in the article from Sydney Morning Herald is
"...the Coca Cola sign at Kings Cross was switched off for the first time since it was illuminated in 1974."

It is called 'Earth Hour' - A campaign of its own kind to switch off all the lights and other unused electrical appliances for an hour from 7.30PM to 8.30PM on 31st March 2007 in the whole of Sydney, Australia.

Not sure if it is a political stunt or if this really stands for reducing the Sydney's carbon emission, but sure it'll aid in some consumption of electrical power:)

Ad Campaign

Here is one of those Blue Billion Ad campaigns from Pepsi co.

And the great Indian huddle failed miserably in the World Cup, and with that goes all those ad campaigns from Pepsi based on Indian cricketers... Nothing Official about it, Ooh Aah India, Blue Billion, Ladega Toh Jeetega... A campaign worth INR 350 crore.

So, what next? What else for Indians & that too from Pepsi... Back to movie stars - Shahrukhs, Priyankas, Suryas & Maddys - Looking forward to...
