I ran into this website of Shapiro Haber & Urmy. You know why? Because, I have heard lots of Indians in the IT sector crib about their employers asking them to work lots of extra hours without the required pay. That interesting fact, made me take a look at this law firm which is taking up such issues on companies like Sony & Activision!

People slog like dogs day & night, nearly 14 hours officially/unofficially and still get paid only for the regular hours. There has been so much of complaints going on around in India, that working on computers has been putting people under strain - mental & emotional, body aches & stress, eye problems etc. Well, reasons for all these are people are over killing themselves. Employers take certain things from their engineers as granted and employees dare to raise their concerns. Why in India. Even in US, I have heard my friends talk about these kind of work environment.

Its basic common sense! Health is wealth! Hey guys, take care of your health & then think about your jobs.
