Don't worry because it too wouldn't last forever.

I happened to see Chak De India yesterday again. It really has lots of value adding lessons on team work, leadership, project work, storming, norming, forming, performing etc.

When the team is not confident enough, you tell them that they are capable & ask them to walk the tough path & that will in turn boosts their confidence more to perform more...

And there are many more such lessons to take away...

Freedom to Choose

I think I've already mentioned many times in my blog about the choices we make, and today its a coincidence that on Independence day, that I was reading thru', 'Freedom to Choose' from 'The 8th Habit'.

Anyways, here are few suggestions from the author about how to work on the 4 intelligences we carry

• Emotional intelligence - Assume that whatever you think about others can be heard by them. Now live
• Physical Intelligence - Assume that you have got heart attack. Now live
• Mental Intelligence - Assume that your half professional life is 2 years. Now live
• Spiritual Intelligence - Assume you have one on one about your life performance with your boss, the Creator every quarter. Now live.

Online Library

Do you know of any good online library where I can just order book, it gets delivered to my house & whenever I'm done with the book, I can just courier the same back?

Or best case, is like someone walks to your hose delivers the book & when you need, they walk back & collect the book from your house again. Is this a new business model?

Where to Make the Effort?

A giant ship engine failed. The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He care fully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.

"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer...... ......... ........ $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap.......... ......... ...... $ 9, 998.00

Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!

The path

Well, today, somewhere I read that the path you are going to take in your life is already written. It's just that we are putting efforts & trying to make a decision to go thru' that path which is already laid out for you.

You feel so challenged about the choice & decision which you took & the way you are travelling the path.

So, relax a bit & make things as smooth as possible because when things are not right, it is the path which you are destined to take so that you learn & make better choices & decisions for the next path ready for you.

One Over & The Next One

Well, I completed The Greatness Guide 2 & now, it is the next one...Stephen R Covey's The 8th Habit. Hoping for the best.
